Last Week Before Christmas

We are excited about all that is going on in our class and our school. There are a few things I would like to remind you of.

- Wednesday is the last day for the class to hand in their Christmas stories so that I can "publish" them before Thursday. Please take the time to read them on our bulletin board outside of the classroom.

- Thursday we will have two performances, 12:10 and 6:10. Please have your children at school at 6:00 on Thursday night.

- Friday is the last day before Christmas break. We are tobogganing and skating in the afternoon. If you want to send a treat to share with the class you can but please don't feel obligated.

Social - The class is eager to put together little presentations for the countries that they are studying.  We are working on 5 paragraphs this week and after Easter we will but together posters.  There will be more information after the break.

*The grade 3 class finished their last math unit in record time.  I have given them multiplication booklets.  They must finish the first booklet.  If they do well on the last review page they will get a prize.  If they choose to do a second booklet (6-10 times tables) and complete it, doing well on the review page they will win a lunch with me.  Some students have also asked for the 11 and 12 times tables!  It is exciting to see students enjoying the times tables and challenging each other.
